Parts

In order to provide you with maximum enjoyment, all of our aluminum parts are designed for a minimum of maintenance. These features allow us to offer a 20-year limited warranty* on all of our products.

Coatings

The majority of our aluminum parts are coated with a resistant polyester powder paint.

Others of our aluminum parts are coated with an acrylic enamel paint.

In both cases, the coatings are covered by a 5-year limited warranty* on fading and chipping.

Installation

In addition to producing durable parts for your balconies and outdoor spaces, our team can also help you with installation, which includes a 5-year limited warranty on all work performed.

Maintenance

Guidelines for maintenance of aluminum decking

– Rinse with water regularly to remove dust, salt residue or other build-up;

– Use a pressure washer to remove more stubborn stains;

– Use environmentally friendly de-icing salt during freezing periods. During these periods, it is also advisable to regularly sweep your floor to avoid salt build-up;

– In autumn, remove leaves from the surface

All McMEL products are subject to rigorous testing and design calculations performed in accordance with current codes and procedures: National Building Code 2015 and CSA500-16. As required by law, Mr. Patrice Austin, Eng., engineer certified in Quebec and Ontario, performs or directly supervises all calculations and tests.

Our products are also tested for use on buildings up to six-stories high and come with the corresponding engineering certification.

1. Place an order

Call us or send an email. Our customer service team will validate all details and confirm availability.

2. Receive email confirmation

Within 48 business hours of receiving the order, you will receive email confirmation from our team as to the availability of the product, the quantity, and the delivery date, and, where applicable, the installation date.

3. Validate parameters or make modifications

Once confirmed, the customer will then have 48 business hours to correct or modify their order via email, prior to shipping. In the absence of a response by the customer, the order parameters will automatically be confirmed at the time of shipment.

4. Receive confirmation of the shipment

Once the order is ready for shipment, the customer will receive an email confirmation containing the delivery details, including the address and the date for delivery or pick-up.

Decking

McMEL decking is available in different colours and finishes:

Decking boards are made-to-measure in the format that meets your needs. Boards are available in various sizes, up to 264” long.

McMEL decking is easy to maintain. We recommend doing an occasional rinse and clearing off leaves in autumn to keep them in best condition.

Railings

McMEL railings are available in different colours and finishes depending on the model:

Correct sizing for railings is very important, to ensure maximum safety and to comply with municipal regulations. In accordance with regulations in place, your railing must be built to the correct height for your balcony, and for its environment, such as proximity to a swimming pool.

Durable, lightweight and low maintenance, the installation is easy thanks to our detailed instructions. For the best long-term performance of your railings and to avoid excess wear, simply rinse them regularly and remove excess dirt.

Privacy Panels

McMEL privacy panels are available in different colours and finishes depending on the model:

Moreover, like our other high-quality products, maintenance is minimal and very simple, requiring only a small amount of attention to remove dirt and wash on occasion.

Our stairs are among the easiest to assemble and most durable in the industry. In addition to offering parts that fit together easily, our wide range of sizes allows us to meet all consumer needs. Available in a maximum width of 144”, the steps can easily be cut to fit your installation. In addition, there are three choices for the depth of steps, each with a standard height of 1-1/2”:

· 10” deep

· 11-11/16”

· 13-3/8”

As with decking, the maintenance of stairs is simple, requiring only occasional washing and the removal of leaves in autumn.
