Forklift driver & factory labourer
Day or evening schedule | 40 hours per week
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the production manager, the forklift driver and factory labourer supports a variety of operations, including cutting, punching, assembly, packaging, handling, transport, and product loading/unloading. They also work closely with other members of the production team.
Qualifications and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification for operating a forklift.
- High precision and attention to detail.
- Effective time management.
- Sharp logical reasoning skills in performing tasks.
- Commitment to staying current with product and service knowledge.
- Strong focus on occupational health and safety.
- Good physical condition.
TASKS
- Work in accordance with company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and loss prevention.
- Handle raw materials and finished products.
- Cut, assemble, and package products.
- Help prepare deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
