Position Team leader – Factory

DESCRIPTION

The factory team leader plays a key role in coordinating production operations. As the direct link between production employees and management, they ensure workflows run smoothly and align with company objectives. By guiding their team and allocating human and material resources effectively, they maintain a safe and productive work environment.

The team leader also drives continuous improvement, pinpointing areas of improvement and offering solutions. Working with other members of management, they help achieve quality, deadline, and performance goals, while fostering a culture of commitment and accountability within their team.

TASKS

1. Managing team members

  • Handle work schedules, absences, and workplace accidents/incidents for a team of about 10 people.
  • Assign daily tasks to employees based on production needs.
  • Participate in daily meetings with the plant manager and other team leaders.
  • Oversee training for new employees and organize replacements when needed.

2. Manual and technical tasks

  • Program and operate cutting machines (Haffner) to meet production requirements.
  • Operate a forklift truck to deliver materials to workstations.
  • Replace or assist an employee in any position as required (stringer, column, or packaging).
  • Update orders and production information in the ERP system.
